We look at how early life experiences and other significant events have shaped your view of the world and of yourself.
Often we develop certain beliefs and stories in childhood which we’re not even aware of, and these beliefs can hold us back. They can cause is to fall into negative patterns around self-belief, relationships and coping mechanism that are no longer helpful.
Once you become aware of these beliefs and patterns, it makes is easier to choose differently. You can build healthy coping mechanisms, and healthy ways of approaching life’s challenges, so you can choose how you act and react, and how you live your life.

What My Therapy Sessions Are Like
I offer both short-term counselling, and longer-term psychotherapy for more complicated issues.
My therapy is often conversational in style. During therapy, I take a non-judgemental, empathic and, at times, challenging approach. I ask questions that help you look at things in a different way. I support you to challenge your thoughts and assumptions, work out what’s really going on, and find healthier ways to approach life.
