My name is Paul. I’m a counsellor and psychotherapist based in Surry Hills, Sydney. I work with with individuals experiencing difficulty with workplace stress.
What is workplace stress?
Everyone experiences stress from time to time, it is a common reaction to the demands and pressure of modern work environment. While a small amount of stress can motivate us, prolonged levels of stress can impact our relationships and affect both our physical and mental health.
Symptoms of workplace stress include:

- Aches, pains, and tense muscles
- Upset stomach, including diarrhea, constipation, and nausea

I offer a range of evidence-based treatments to help you identify why you feel stressed and equip you with the necessary skills and strategies to deal with the stressful situations that may trigger it. Using a variety of cognitive and behavioural techniques, counselling for workplace stress can help you move toward a more comfortable and satisfying work life.
Workplace stress counselling may include helping you identify the causes of your stress, managing underlying emotions, strengthening assertiveness skills and looking at general relaxation strategies such as mindfulness practices, breathing and muscle relaxation techniques.
